IESSA
IESSA is responsible for providing a forum for its members to voice their opinions on various aspects of lighting in South Africa industry. IESSA also plays an important roll in promoting the objectives of the International Commission on Illumination as a great number of new developments in the lighting industry are initiated overseas rather than in South Africa.Working hand in hand with SABS, and various SANS governing bodies, IESSA plays an important role in advising on technical matters in the light industry.LED Lighting technology has grown tremendously in the past few years in South Africa and the rest of the world, and therefore will become more and more of a focus in the architectural and commercial lighting industry. All in all, the conference was a great success.
